The mice have spread throughout the lands of the great forest. They usually live in huge societies.
Mice are skilled craftsmen and are able to make use of everything the forest provides in one way or another, whether for creating clothing, armor, tools, or other items. Over time, they have also mastered the art of smithing. 
To obtain the necessary materials, some mice engage in mining or trade with other creatures.
Their cities are often well hidden in underground cave systems, but the thick trees of the great forest also offer space for their dwellings, as they painstakingly gnaw out chambers and halls within the trunks.

A crucial factor for the survival of a mouse community is a sufficient food supply to sustain everyone within the community or the realm. Conflicts frequently arise over feeding grounds, especially with other peoples of the forest, but sometimes also with other mouse communities.

From among the many mice, warriors are recruited, needed in great numbers for the battles within the forest. An individual mouse may seem weak, but in large numbers they are formidable enemies.
